Kylie is a Learning Content Management System that enables you to create engaging e-learning content both quickly and inexpensively. Using intuitive web based input forms you can create topics using many varied design elements. These topics are then compiled into Courses and Modules which can be exported to a SCORM compliant package.
The development process is also managed with defined stages for Content Capture, Storyboarding, Development, and a three stage approval process (Alpha/Beta and Sign Off). After your topic has been produced and deployed, it can be reviewed and amended through a Content Review process utilizing the same approval process above, or for minor tweaks of the text content it can be edited using the Rapid Editing function.
DELC Moodle is a reference installation of the product provided for use in Defence Electronic Learning Centres. This site has been replicated for use in DELC offline centres, which are all synchronised with the central master.
We have also utilized an instance of Moodle for use as a service support web site. This allows all service stakeholders to access the latest information and also upload documents and contribute to discussion forums.
Logica have enabled the Moodle LMS to run from a hardware encrypted USB stick, which can be used in any MS Windows based machine. The design includes our synchronisation plug-ins, which allow the course catalgue to be updated and also the learning records to be uploaded to a master site, when an internet connection is available.

Some case studies:
The DELC booking System is used to manage the booking of workstations at DELC facilities. The system is very flexible, allowing for the booking of any single hour slot through to block booking of workstations across different days.
As well as the DELC facilities the DELC service also provides Rapid Reaction DELC's which are a tailored collection of laptops and a laptop server designed to be quickly deployable to create a learning facility wherever one is required in the world.
This means there are a lot of dispersed assets used as part of the DELC service - the tracking and maintenance status of which are all managed through the DELC Asset Management System.
